Heavy metal veterans Leatherwolf celebrated this past Halloween with the release of their horror-themed video for the single, “Lights Out Agan” off their most recent album, Kill the Hunted. The video features vocalist Keith Adamiak, guitarists Rob Math, Luke Man, David Coffman, bassist Brice Snyder, and drummer Dean Roberts.
Plunge into a dark, horror-movie-esque world over a backdrop of heavy metal mayhem, Leatherwolf style. A fun rock video featuring a wolf creature, and a dark and gritty atmosphere that conjures up memories of eighties late-night cable horror. The plot finds the band performing on a freight car delivering a potent mix of aggression and melody while showcasing their signature blend of triple heavy guitars, and unforgettable chilling lyrics and riffs. While, the engine driving Wolfman’s train, on the way to their next concert runs out of blood!
Award-winning, Spanish filmmaker, Èric Boadella, whose credits include L.A. Guns, Black Swan, and Revolution Saints was enlisted to collaborate again with the band. The video was filmed at The Barracks in downtown Los Angeles. This is the second collaboration with the director, the first being the video for “Only the Wicked”. Both videos feature industrial settings that are dark, gritty, and powerful. For the current video, Boadella came up with the concept and was given free rein by the band and crew. The results were a conceptual, enigmatic performance video intertwined with a throwback to old creature features.
Leatherwolf is working on a 2025 EP set to feature a mix of new songs and re-recordings of tracks from the band's catalog. The first of these re-recordings, a remake of "Thunder" off 1989's Street Ready, re-titled "Thunder (MMXXII)", and was released as a bonus track on the Japanese CD and the vinyl edition of Kill the Hunted and features a lead guitar guest appearance by Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Revolution Saints).
